Mirabel has nothing to be proud of. Her life has turned upside down as a result of the men he associated with from her tender age. The mother of three has lost her three partners as a result of the crime. Mirabel's first spouse was shot dead in 2018, the same year she lost the second man who had come into her life. Last year, Mirabel's third partner was killed in a shoot-out.

She is now raising the three boys who will never get the privilege of seeing their fathers. The young man is worried that the children may end up in crime, just like their fathers.

At a young age, Mirabel has had a share of problems. Her father died of a mysterious illness when she was 15, leaving her mother to support the family through menial jobs.

Tragedy struck again when her mother passed away a year later, leaving her to take care of her three younger siblings. The loss of her parents pushed her into early marriage. Relatives who had pledged to support them, reneged on their promises once Mirabel's parents were no more.

Her first marriage did not last. She lost her husband three years later leaving behind a toddler that needed parental care. Helpless and Hopeless, she joined stripping during which she linked up with a deadly gang.

"We met in a club I used to strip, they came in as a group and one of them approached me after performing with the intention of being my boyfriend. Since I wanted extra support I gave in and that’s how we ended up as husband and wife,” she explains.

She eventually quit stripping and joined the gang.

"My role was to clean and move guns from one destination to the other. I remember there was a time I was ambushed by police just after I dropped the guns. They ransacked my handbag and found nothing, they beating but I remained unmoved," shares Mirabel.

That marked the turning point. She quit the gang but her husband was shot dead a few months later. Mirabel was already pregnant and HIV positive.

"It was while I was down and struggling that a friend mentioned to me about the activities of pastor Muhia of Remnants Family Ministry, which I immediately joined," she says.
